Installation:

Windows only right now, sorry.

Unzip the zip file. The program is called rclog2vbo.exe. You can move this file to a directory which is in the system path
and then invoke it from a cmd window, or just copy it to the directory where you want to use it and double click on it.

Usage:

The program is a command line tool. You will be prompted for the name of the file to convert; you must
type in the name of the RC log file you want to convert (you don't have to add the .log extension). You
will be asked if you want to link a video file. If you answer yes, you are then prompted to input a video
delay. Input a positive delay number if the video file starts later than the log, a negative number if the
video starts before the log. You can have only one linked video file, and its name must be the same as
the log file name with "_0001" appended. For example, if your log file is named "first_session" your video
file must be named "first_session_0001" for Circuit Tools to be able to find it. If you need to join
multiple video files together, the free tool MP4Join will do it for you. The conversion currently expects
the video to be in MP4 format.

The output file name will be the same as the log file name, with a .vbo extension. This file can be loaded
directly into Circuit Tools.

Note that the lateral acceleration forces shown by default in Circuit tools will be very inaccurate, due
to limitations in this version of the conversion tool. However, the raw acceleration forces recorded by
Race Capture are available in auxiliary channels "AccelX" and "AccelY".
