So I have a mechanical tach drive. I'm too cheap to look for an electronic one. So I took an old worn out Delco distributor and lopped off the top. Tonight I did the final wiring and fired the GT6 up on the MJLJ box.

Right away no issues. Then played with the rev limiter

But yes without a sensor suite the only feed I could offer the box would be a coil or rpm output from the MJLJ box.

Interesting result. When I hooked the coil up today with 12v and a spark plug I discovered my coil pin was a different. I've updated my graphic to show the new lay out, the pins are 1=A, 2=B, 3=C... Ok hard rev limiter installed, as well a power led and an option profile switch. Tested the switch on the software and it works. Yeah. Used to vent fumes from the valve cover back into the intake. So yeah its a vacuum port. Considering using it as a test. I also have a vac port on my rear carb. I've been waiting to finish this project since 2006, will be running on the MJLJ in for 2009. Recently ordered a rev limiter to work with my V2 box.
