Android Gauge app

Phil Toben who does the TunerStudioMS java based application to tune the Megasquirt ECU, has also recently released ShadowDashMS which is an Android app that displays a very cool digital dash from the data gathered from the Megasquirt ECU via a bluetooth to DB9 serial adapter. There is also a freely...

Sorry for the chirping crickets! This part in the install guide should help: http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_vehicle_installation_guide#Tachometers_that_require_a_high-voltage_kickback_pulse This information about the Smiths RVI tachometers is wrong. The central power wire for the EDIS coil sh...

So the VR sensor centered over the center of where the missing tooth is supposed to be located if it was actually there?

Are you saying then that you should have had it be lined up at the leading edge of the missing tooth and then it would have been right on?

Anyway, thanks a bunch for the reply to both questions.

leading edge or trailing edge and VR sensor gap

I am just about done with my bracket to mount the VR sensor so I am now looking at the alignment of the toothed wheel in relation to the VR sensor position. I have looked at the drawings and other info posted on the autosportlabs.net sight but i don't see a mention of if the alignment of the VR sens...

I have some updates due on our Megajolt2 plans. At minimum you need a system with 6 coil drivers in a wasted spark setup- 12 in a true Coil on Plug configuration. I think our plans will include something that can fit your needs. Check back in a day or two! OK Brent, it's been two days.... What's th...

COOL!!! color me drooling for a solution!

BTW, Is your Megajolt2 a product that will not see customer availability until late this year or early next year?
Or are you looking at something sooner than that?

Re: Justin McLeod

Justin says your wasted spark solution for V12 cars is somehow based around that. That's not familiar to me. The Megajolt2 family will not require an EDIS module and will therefore not need a SAW delay circuit. Ah, OK I must have misunderstood Justin's IM notes. Please tell me it (MJ2 V12 wasted sp...

Justin McLeod

BTW, I am the person who got the circuit diagram for the saw delay circuit from the guy in South Africa to Justin.
Justin says your wasted spark solution for V12 cars is somehow based around that.

But will you be posting the information under the News & Announcements part of the forum or on
one of the other parts of your Autosport Labs sites?

where MJ2 info at?

BTW, where do I look on this or the other autosport labs sites for information on the Megajolt2
units? And what is your expected release schedule for that? Having a real possibility of doing
coilpack ignition on the Jag V12 engine is eagerly anticipated!

Two EDIS6 controllers for V12 engine?

A large group of Jaguar V12 owners are interested in converting to coilpack EDIS ignition since the original Jaguar V12 ignition system is fragile and unreliable as well as being severely limited by old technology. One gentleman in South Africa has mounted two VR sensors 60° apart along with the req...
