Are empty holes OK ?

Hi, many, many years ago, I bought a Hard Rev Limiter V 1.2.0. I am about to put it in my only recently purchased MegaJolt. I have read the instructions and I understand that I have to solder 4 wires. Must I soder anything else ? There are still 3 empty holes, marked C, B and E I guess that it is a ...

@ Oliver

I had a look at the site you mentioned.
There are 4 different products.

Hi,

here is a picture with my installation.
Rover V 8 3.5 in a Triumph TR 7.
I swapped the HT cables until it locked tidy.
As said before, you can swap cables on EACH coil,
not between the coils.

Question about Flash

Hi, I have a MegaJolt V3 and I'm about to put it in my car. EDIS is running already in Limp Home mode. I have some questions about flashing. I have found this and I quote from the Operation guide: "Persisting the data to flash requires a significant amount of time" 1. Is there a message wh...

« I don't like to use any more terminals and connectors than absolutely necessary« I totally agree with your statement. I just could leave two slots for the fuses empty. Are the wires all on one side of the parallel crimp splice ? I am confused about crimping and soldering. I am used to crimp or so...

One reason is, I have this nice little holder for the relay. The other reason is, I can distribute easily the power from one point to the four devices. Two coil packs, EDIS module, and MegaJoltBox. How do you connect four wires to one wire ? For earth distribution I will use this: I got this from a ...

Values for fuses recommendation

I'm about to put the MegaJolt EDIS into my car.
I have planned to put some fuses and a relay in.
What values of fuses should I use ?
Please have look at my sketch.

I don't use any USB-Serial Adapter, so no problems there.
Than I wired a switch in the power supply.
That made all the difference.
It worked!
Thanks again Brent.

Hi Brent, thanks for your answer. Sorry I can't report a success. I followed the steps in the firmware upgrade guide. I got the "Waiting for...." message and than: "received 0xfc (good)" After powering up the unit I got: "Calibration break pulse sent. Count:1 Can't read MCU ...
