Does it start and run with the MJ disconnected and EDIS module only?

If not, you have other issues than the MJ module...

Unfortunately too large to attach here...

This sounds like exactly the same symptoms I hed recently with a bad EDIS module.
No misfires when you ran the EDIS without the MJ?

Have you checked your trigger wheel and sensor is securely fixed? How does the RPM reading in the software compare to that on your car's gauge (if it's got one)? I actually tried two different sensor and three ways to secure the sensor. Same results. RPMs look same on MJLJ and the Tach. After appro...

Signs of a bad EDIS

Got a complete MJLJ with EDIS8 installed and all wired up. Only problem is: I run it in limp home mode without MJLJ. Starts up fine and runs rock steady idle 10 degrees for about 20 sec. Then the timing starts to jump around and sounds like it's missing, finally gets so unstable after a few minutes ...

Temperature Sensor on Aux Input

So I have the resistance vs. temp profile for the autometer temp sensor I want to use on the Aux Input of the MJLJ.

I also know that the Reference Voltage is 5 Volts.

Now what is the bias resistance to translate the Input Ohms into Input Volts? Is it a 'standard' 2490 Ohms?

Thanks!

Just thinking out loud here, but why not connect a relay to the coil output wire of the MJLJ (along with the coils, of course) and use this relay to run your fuel pump? You'd have fuel being pumped whenever the coils are powered up, but not when they are shut off (either normally or due to over-rev...

Just bouncing around some ideas.

I think I will try to shut off the injectors at rev limit, seems to be the best way to go...

Ah, got it. Still, you'd have residual fuel pressure in the lines, which might power the engine into a danger zone. is the fuel injection system capable of doing a fuel cut at the injector? You could still do an ignition cut. The plus side is you might get some pretty exhaust flames :) Thanks! In t...
