I haven't installed yet but i bought an AEM flex fuel sensor and want to pull content % and temp off it using RCP's PWM inputs as well.

I never really understood the configuration of PWM side so it should be interesting.

Should be no harm. Just take only the signal wire and leave the power/ground alone. I've done it to 3 of my sensors (including TPS) on my modern car and the ECU doesnt complain. Only issue with mine is my ecu uses a different reference voltage offset so I had to scale the sensors myself using know v...

Now it's just a matter of finding a decent enclosure to mount the ASL breakout board along with these connectors.
Kinda wish the breakout board had chassis mounting screw provisions.

Yea I had listed the Binder parts. Couldnt find many sources to purchase, but costs looked to be over a $10 a connector. I received the aviation connectors listed in post #3 in the mail today. Surprisingly quick shipping from china, only 7 calendar days. Also surprising, they are pretty nice quality...

I went ahead and ordered 10 of those 3 wire aviation plugs in the post above. It was under $10 shipped so I cant complain. I'll post dimensions when they show up.

You could test the TPS voltage using a multimeter with the bike not running but in the 'ON' position to see if there is any voltage variance when held open for extended period of time. You could also see what level of movement of the throttle causes TPS changes.

Terminal/Connector talk

I have an RCP mk2. I'm currently using all 7 analog inputs, about to be using all 3 digital PWM inputs. Not to mention I'm using up the 3 GPIO outputs for a ShiftX, yada yada yada. Suffice to say my wiring is pretty substantial yet somewhat neatly done. Despite that, I'm OCD so I'm going to be redoi...

Hey Rowan, I saw you commented on my YouTube video so I figure I would chime in here: Here is a link to my RCP MK2 .LOG file in the zip file, I believe same one as my session from that video. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B32khitIH6DEaXdzdGlSV2xvQ1k/view?usp=sharing The RCP data profile in DashWa...

The RCP MK2 has dual CANBUS, so I believe you can utilize one to output data if the other device can interpret. wouldnt be straight forward but i know i've watched a video of the guys using one RCP to send data to another RCP using CAN.

GPS antenna mounting

Currently my mk2 GPS antenna is mounted inside my car, on top of the dash directly under the windshield. The windshield is pretty thin but does have a layer of tint on it. Would it be wise to move the antenna to my trunk deck lid outside of the car? I want to avoid any potential interference. I've o...
