I am glad you got it working. I was able to get the start/stop co-ordinates but they seem to act funky sometimes, still nowhere close to the functionality of SoloStorm which I believe is possible using RaceCapture. What did you use for your steering angle sensor? I am looking to install one as well ...

Hard-wire GoPro!

This might be slightly off-topic, but I am looking for a way to use hard-wire GoPro for integration with RaceCapture MK2. With the wireless on and recording, I can barely get 1 track session (20 mins). Anyone able to hard-wire the GoPro in their car?

You can connect power via the RJ45, or via the terminal block. With MK2, do not connect both at the same time to different circuits, or you current will back-feed through MK2. MK3 has protection diodes internally, so it would be safe to connect power to RJ45 and molex connector. For your case, you ...

You should run a dedicated power source. Use a fuse and likely a relay if you want it switched with ignition. So I am planning to take the radio unit out, it already has a 10amp fuse and switches on with ignition. With the power from radio connected to terminal block, I just connect can - H and can...

RCP MK2 NA Miata Install

Greetings from Greenville, SC Finally getting on installing RCP MK2 to my 1995 Miata that I use for SCCA Autocross/TT (CSP) and plan on moving to NASA TT (TTE/TTD). The car has a NB2 Miata VVT engine controlled by Megasquirt MS3. The GPS is installed close to rear windshield on the rear trunk. I put...

12V Power - Terminal Block vs CAN

I am working on installing a RaceCapture MK2 in my 1995 Miata. In terms of providing 12V power source, I see 2 options: 1) 12V source from radio with 10 Amp fuse connected to terminal block 2) 12V source from CAN connected to Megasquirt. I am a bit confused that if I use the power from Radio, do I s...

RCP MS3 CAN Bus Integration

Looking for ideas on how to proceed with getting data from MS3 using CAN Bus. I am starting to look into this topic as I am installing RCP in my 95 Miata. Any help/suggestions are appreciated. If this is possible, it would definitely save me a lot of trouble of installing daq specific sensors.
