Feature Request: 360 Camera Control - Insta360 or Yi 360

Hey guys, Wondering if you've looked at incorporating some 360 camera controls. I've got an Insta360 One X camera that I plan to use in-car for LeMons. I know they have an SDK they'll make available, not sure on the details. Also saw that Yi makes a 360 camera, and that you've done a Yi action sport...

We have a few OBDII examples here that you might find interesting. They could be adapted to set a value to a virtual channel if you wanted to: https://wiki.autosportlabs.com/RaceCapturePro_Lua_Scripting_Examples#OBDII_tricks Hope this helps, let us know what you end up figuring out! Thanks! I'll ch...

OBDII Fault Codes?

Hey all, We're putting together a 2006 Mini Cooper S and I'm getting all the data components together. Right now I've got a RCP MKII, the legacy OBDII adapter and have ordered the ShiftX3. We're going to set up a Raspberry Pi and the RPi 7" display as our primary dashboard display showing basic...

Just wanted to share that I got this working with the following setup: Raspberry Pi 3 B+ 7" Official RPi Touchscreen Raspbian Stretch Light I had initially tried installing on the existing Jessie image I'd been running on the RPi, but that wasn't so successful. The app would load but basically ...

Hey Brent, Yeah, I'd found the video below on doing that very invasively (same thing with the GPIO I imagine). Though it seems easy enough to use this to create dash-mounted buttons to turn the gopro on or off (and then use 1-button mode to start/stop recording), but I'm not sure how this informatio...

Solution for sync'ing GoPros to RCP

A company called Cam-Do makes a controller board that plugs into the back interface on the GoPros (some restrictions in compatibility). It takes a trigger signal of 3-15V which could easily be made with the RCP. It can also power the GoPro from a 5V source, and power an LED to indicate the camera is...

Thanks Ryan,
Yeah, we'll be there in January, and hopefully March. We've got a top notch team lined up for January, so I'm gonna try and maximize the telemetry setup. I'll hit you up with questions for sure... give Brent a break from the email barrage.

Hey Ryan,
Yeah, was that you helping Andrew get me going over the weekend? If so, thanks! We had a rough weekend but I was glad to get the MK2 going. Looking forward to adding sensors and already have found good feedback for my drivers from it!

Honestly, I haven't tried tapping/measuring anything yet. I've just been trying to prep as much as possible so there aren't any big surprises when I do the install of everything. I'll go ahead with the assumption that I can tap these two and just look for issues. I have what the stock fuel sender re...

Brent, thanks! So water and oil temps are easy to sort out with additional sensors. I was originally planning on doing that anyway. With TPS and Fuel though, how are other people doing this? Is everyone using the method you mention or are there other methods? If it isn't already painfully clear I'm ...

I might not have been totally clear in the original post. There were a lot of implied questions. But, since I've pretty much worked out everything, I'll directly ask 2 things: 1) Can the fuel level sender be routed to RCP, then out again through an analog output to the gauge? 2) Can the TPS be route...

Tapping existing vs using ECU outputs vs new sensors vs RCP

Okay guys, so I've been searching and reading around the forums some, have gleaned a little info, and made some of my own conclusions but I still would like to hear what everyone else would suggest for this situation: I'm currently replacing all stock gauges with aftermarket ones in my track-only CR...

Hello - LeMons CRX Racer from San Jose

Hey everyone, I'm Aaron. This year I started a 24 Hour of LeMons team with some friends and we're loving it. We run an '88 Honda CRX with an OBDI B18B1, non-chipped ECU, naturally aspirated. I'm in the process of completely replacing the stock gauges with aftermarket ones as well as planning to inst...
