Has anyone had any luck with ambient temp? CAN or OBD, I’d love to plot this against intake temp.

Did anyone get rpm working via can? The address stated in post one seems to be close doesn’t quite work right, it’s somehow dependent upon throttle being applied as well.

I'm still messing with this and am just trying to get it solid for reliability, I had some issues with my headunit crashing when all wheels speeds were being used. For it is solid with just the OBDii speed in kmh, once GPS has a kph conversion i can disable OBDii mapping altogether. It worked beauti...

I used this update on track sunday with no issues on 1.10. It possibly crashed a couple of times when running in the background during testing but obviously I don't multitask on track, I'm not that good. After the .1 update, from testing and multitasking on my drive home from work today I couldn't g...

no worries, i just reworked it with wheel speed and 0-100% pedal, same link as above.

I was finding the the RCP needed a power cycle after entering settings. Maybe also force quit app just to be sure.

I think one main alarm, e.g. boolean condition that flashes the screen accompanied by an audio output, (through 3.5mm to amp or input to comm channel, or in my case, as it is a head unit, straight through car stereo speakers would be amazing.

actually this should be easier,
attached is an RCP file you can just load, note you will still need to select the channel within gauges.

I think I need a little help, I have zero experience with CAN or PID and I'm trying to set this up on my Racecapture/Track to read from my GT86 racecar, I really need someone to spell this out in simple terms for me  So I've inputed the exact same CAN settings for all three as shown above and...

OK had a bit of a win tonight! I have OIL temp working and almost everything I need except brake pressure using CAN ID 209 offset 2 and length 1 but not getting a reading, I'm sure i am close as PSI came up in the units for the gauge once. I couldn't get throttle / wheel speed via CAN but using OBD ...

You are correct Brent, yes that list was the standard ones, some of they may be handy but really the oil temp is the one I imagine we all want, and it wasn't in there anyway! All I have is the info same as above: PID 2101 Min -40 Max 215 Scale x1 Unit Type C Equation AC-40 OBD Header 7E0 Just not su...

so the new firmware is out and I am keen to get this working with some custom BRZ PIDS,
oil temp and brake pressure are close to the top of the wishlist.
Attached is the data i've found but will need to put it into recapture correctly. That's where i need help!
