Speed not displaying

I am running the MK2 and recently upgraded my LG tablet to version 1.10.2. After the upgrade my speed gauge stopped working. The speed gauge is on the dashboard but there are no numbers in the speed gauge when stopped or when moving. Any ideas what I might have done to cause this to happen and what ...

There are some solutions for making racing gloves work with touch screens. I haven't tried it yet so I can't comment on how well it works. Check this out: https://www.amazon.com/AnyGlove-TM-Synthetic-Touchscreen-Compatible/dp/B00AB3EVOW/ref=s9_simh_gw_g147_i3_r?_encoding=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd...

Unable to install USB driver

I have a MK2 and I am trying to install the USB device driver in Windows 7. I am getting an error from Windows saying it can't install it. The error I am getting is "The folder you specified doesn't contain a comparable software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure...

I just did the upgrade and will be doing a test later.

What is the optimal way to start logging?

Yep, I'm part of Dirty Little Freaks. Nice write up on your blog and thanks for the mention. I will do the update to RCP this afternoon. Here is my LUA script: setTickRate(15) function onTick() startLogging() local r = getTimerRpm(0) if r > 7500 then return else end if r > 4500 or getAnalog(0) > 218...

Damn auto correct! :-) I meant to say "not many lap times were captured". The script isn't for the Shift-X. Instead, my script is used to control shifts lights and a pain siren. We're serious about over revving. :-) Attached is another sample log file. I really appreciate you taking the ti...

I'm using LUA scripting to automatically start logging. Attached is the RCP config and a sample log file.

SD logging issue

I was running RaceCapture MK1 at a track day at The Ridge. It more or less worked given the weak cell coverage at the track. What didn't work was the logging to the SD card. The RCP was powered up for the whole day. When I looked at the SD card yesterday there were 38 log files, most of them less th...

UPDATE

I gave up on trying to come ump with my own EGT sensor. Instead I went with this.

So easy. Worth the cost easily. I have a solid and reliable EGT sensor now.

Definitely not the alternator. The voltage is at 14.2 but AutosportLabs reports 17.4. I found what was causing the problem. It was the thermocouple amplifier. When I unplug it everything returns to normal. I have a new amplifier on the way.

Battery voltage incorrect

Not sure what is going on. RCP was working great until this weekend. It's an intermittent problem where the battery voltage on the display goes to 17.49 volts. When I test the voltage with the multi meter it says it's 14.2. Also the MAP sensor goes to 28 psi when the battery goes to 17. I've checked...

The voltage at GPIO0 is 5VDC. when i connect it to the relay coil there is no response. When I connect the relay to the 5 VDC supply on RCP the relay responds. Is the problem that the GPIO can't drive the relay. It's a really small relay. 60ma coil.
Any suggestions?

According to the description of the relay board it supports PIC ARM AVR DSP Arduino MSP430 TTL Logic. Is the RCP comparable with this type of device?
