Windows App not working

I downloaded Windows version 2.2.0 and when I launch it, all I get on the screen is the word "Exit" repeated many times. The same happens with any version 2.

I downloaded version 1.16.2 again and it works perfectly.

I will send it to your email. I get an error when I attach the file here. May be because of size.

I have tried both. The manual dimmest I can do with LUA is still too bright.
Is there a possible lower way and 1? I used to play with the frequency on the other ShiftX to go even lower.

I did before but you guys answered that it was related to GPS accuracy and I gave up. I am no longer logging data since we installed a VBOX and their analysis software is better. So we are using Racecapture for telemetry only now. I can insert a card next time and capture some data for you, but the ...

For day light driving it works great, but because we do endurance and enventually have to drive at night, it becones too bright. With the previous ShiftX lwe were able to use the time of day to lower the intensity almost all the way, but this ShiftX2 can not be lowered enough. It becomes blinding at...

Was this issue addressed in the new beta version?
Should I try the longer script or not yet?
I don't want to block it again, it is realy hard to recuperate.

I know you guys have been reluctant to check the preditive lap time algorithm, but it definately misbehaves. In many ocasions it is erratic right before crossing the finish line and corrects as soon as you cross it. You can see the behaviour in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqbIjQRjIHs ...

This is what I did and it worked:

saved configuration not to loose analog sensors.
Downgraded to 2.12.0
flashed an empty script
resetConfig (via Putty)

upgraded to 2.13.5
The scripts worked again.

Not sure which of the steps really erased the configuration, but it is working again.

I have the same question.
What does brightness scale do and what is more or less bright?

OK. I will be counting bytes next time.

In the meantime, can you tell me how to reset that memory?

I can't load even shorter scripts that worked before.

Brent
I found the original post by eacmen.
This is exactly the same problem I have.
Once you hit the limit it becomes unstable and difficult to recover, even with small scripts you get the "lua: Failed to allocate memory for script buffer."

I was able to do more research on this issue, but have serious problems. Suddenly (as I thought it was the collectgarbage() that fixed it), I was able to load longer scripts again. Also suddenly it went back to the previous state, where it won't load scripts larger that 3000 bytes. I get several dif...

13.5.1 Regular AddChannel calls. I had 12 and had to remove 5 of them. They do release some memory each. But like I said, when it fails loading, it gives the size: on the Mk2 about 5200, on the mk3 all it takes is about 3000. In every case I always use the minifier. See attached script that loads on...

2.13.5

It actually works well with gas. It takes about 1 minute from full to empty. But it just changes the values.

The only difference is the shiftX2. Your samples functions are tinny, but many, and they eat up the memory quickly. I put several together to save memory. But if I load, even after using lua minifier, anything with more that 3000 characters, it won't load it. I already optimized it, but to be able t...
