I think I found the answer - looks like this adapter will do it with my existing Racecapture/Track.

Racecapture/Track CAN model to Legacy OBD model?

I decided to part ways with my old S13 track car that had an AEM Infinity 506 in it that I was planning to use the Racecapture/Track (thank you for clearing up the branding of your models!) CAN as a datalogger/laptimer. I picked up a 2003 Honda S2000 as a replacement which has legacy OBDII. So my qu...

Oh... I wasn't aware this wasn't supported out of the box since it was touted as a feature on the Racecapture kickstarter.

Any ETA on the new firmware?

The scripting submenu goes away when I connect to the Racecapture wifi. See my screenshots for what it looks like when connected.

How do I run a script when connected?

Brent, thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure on that one, so I've previously tried both with it on and off (and yes, I'm writing after every setup change and reading to verify the config on the RC). So I got some log screenshots with OBD2 turned *OFF* and CAN turned *ON*. Maybe the thumbnails from IMG...

Thanks for the replies guys. I have the latest Android RC app version 1.8.0 running on an 8" Fire tablet, and I see the Scripting menu before I connect to the RC wifi, but it disappears after I connect to the RC wifi. So I couldn't run the script linked. Any info on how to run a script while ac...

RaceCapture not reading CAN information from AEM Infinity 6

My Racecapture has never seemed to read data from my AEM Infinity 6 (now called the 506). Is there something I should be setting up on the setup page? I looked it over for a solid 30 mins today and didn't find anything obvious. I did verify the AEMnet datarate is 500k baudrate, which is what I've se...

Pinout for RJ45 Connector

Can I get a quick pinout for the RJ45 connector on the RaceCapture? Something like this: https://wiki.autosportlabs.com/images/8/82/RaceCapture-Pro_MK2_quick_reference_sheet.jpg I'm wiring my AEM Infinity to the RaceCapture, so I need to know the pins and could not find it on the wiki (kept sending ...

Also, note that the RaceCapture ships with the AccessPoint enabled, with no password set. It sets up an open network that you should be able to connect to right away. Looks like it was the 8 character PW limitation. I thought I put 8 in, but only 7. I guess that's what I get for trying to do this s...

When you say 'you had no luck' - what did you observe exactly? Over USB, are you able to change a WiFi setting, then write it to the unit, then read it back to see your changes persisted? Note, when setting an access point password, it must be a minimum of 8 characters. https://wiki.autosportlabs.c...

I'm having difficulty getting the RaceCapture to connect to anything other than USB (PC) now. WiFi Module is enabled and Client Mode and Access Point Mode are both disabled (Tried enabled too to no avail). What is the default that we should be setting to? Everytime I try to make changes, it's all r...

Ok, I got the Racecapture app installed on my Win10 desktop and connected to the RC via USB. Possibly when scrolling the Access Point Mode had been disabled. But I'm noticing that no changes on the wifi Access Point Mode change anything. I still get the default Racecapture 1407034091834908 (random n...
