Awesome, thanks Bryan. Any plans to wire up a wideband O2 like the Bosch lsu 4.9? I am trying to figure out if this sensor can be run directly to the RCP3 or if you still need a controller.

Thanks for the update. so you plan is to use the stock miata sensors on the car already? Do you have a plan as far needing a pull up resistor in line or who the calibration might go? The miata oil pressure sensor as least has known resistance values but the temp sensor is one of those mystery (doesn...

How did this install go? I am very interested in the Tach setup because I am about to do it on my 1990 Miata. Did you need any kind of resistor for the tach signal? What did you need to do in order to calibrate it to work with the RCP?

It's difficult to know because I don't have anything to compare it to. But typically there is little to no lag between when I hit the throttle and when the oil pressure increases.

Miata Oil Pressure Set up

So I was curious if anyone has tried to hook up the oem Miata oil pressure gauge to the RCP. I found the resistance values the corrispond to pressures. My guess is that this style gauge will not work with the RCP but I thought I would check before I go to the trouble of pulling out the oem sender fo...

So basically just pull from the leads that are going into the back gauge cluster?

What size pressure gauge would need to be installed? I have no idea what kind of pressure to expect from say a Miata brake master cylinder.

Well it took some time but I figured how to get it to work. I had the right settings, it was the dashboard Fuel Level gauge that required to be removed and re-installed. I was getting the readings in the dashboard green font screen, just not in the dashboard gauge screen. When I removed and re-inst...

I am also wondering the same thing for a few of the gauges. I talked to Brent about this topic, there is no plug and play method to get the OBD1 ECU to work directly with RCP. You will need to get 5v sending units for Oil pressure, Coolant temp (or engine temp). My plan is to put a Mishimoto 32mm Wa...
