BK - were you successful in resolving this? I have a non-M E46 and the preset decodes to 28L with a full tank for me too, hoping there is an answer out there somewhere for this item. I ended up adding to the fuel level can mapping a formula multiplying by 2, and then applying the L to G conversion....

Good observation. I was wondering if the RC was averaging the two 'lever type sensor' values. I'll have to monitor it and then make up a formula to compensate for the readings.

I had previously switched it to the steering sensor with no results. However, I just switch from the RJ45 connection to the molex connection and it's working now. I've tested the MK3 directly to a battery via the pins on the unit with no success. It only Powers up via a USB plug. Please let me know if I need to send the unit back or other steps.

That should work.

It won't allow me to attach a RCP file. "Extension rcp is not allowed"

I do have a SD card in the RC.

Since updating to the Android 1.11 the session no longer records in the App and if the App is running and I hit the action button to record on the RC it lots up the App. A App restart when recording on the RC is the only resolution.
