This does work, nothing to enable i dont think, you have to be on a dashboard screen for the logging to happen. Relies on the phone/tablet to do the logging. I tried it and works ok on shorter logs. The app locked up on me when I let it run on a longer trip, not sure if it was due to logging or not....

You are absolutely right, looks like Firefox for android is the culprit. Works ok when i copy from chrome.

Is there an alternate way to copy log files from the SD Card on the RCApex.
I know I can pull the SD Card and copy them off.
Is there a way to copy them via Bluetooth or WIFI?

Also had an issue doing the track walk at the autocross course. Got about 1/3 of the way through the course and the track mapping stopped and the restart button appeared. Just reproduced this on a nexus7 running marshmallow. Not connected to my RCApex.
Exit button seems unresponsive, after several presses the screen goes black. Sometimes an application stopped message comes up, sometimes it hangs at the black screen and you have close it manually.

Unfortunately my car is out for paint, may be a couple of months. I have the string pots and from what I can see in playing with them, I don't see any reason why they won't work great for steering angle and throttle position.

Came across these, probably not as good as some of the commercial models. I bought a couple, I'll update when I get them installed.
For $40 might make sense for some folks.
