Re: Bitwise AND operators , interpreting Engine Status

Hi, You can do this in 2 steps: Step one, map a CAN channel for the bit field you want. This will result in a channel with a 0 or 1 value. https://wiki.autosportlabs.com/CAN_Bus_Integration Step two, if you want to do additional processing in Lua, you can fetch that channel value by name, and then d...

Hi, Your problem is not megajolt specific, but generally how to use windows and a command prompt for running programs. Here's one guide from searching google: how to run a program from the command prompt on windows https://www.wikihow.com/Run-an-EXE-File-From-Command-Prompt If this continues to prov...

Re: iOS App can't connect over WiFi

Thanks for the update. were you able to get all the way in to the app and see data?

What iOS device do you have? Do you have a different iOS device, such as a tablet?

Re: Scion FRS, Subaru BRZ, Toyota GT86

Could someone check the existing FRS / BRZ preset mapping and check if it matches the latest? If not, we can update the system default, just post the RCP file here.

Thanks for all the hard work reverse engineering this!

We cross posted this post over to Facebook, and someone pointed out an option using a Mercedes linear position sensor: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1288770 ... 258221560/

Worth checking out!

Re: 2017+ Civic SI mapping

Hi,

Thanks for the post.

from the IAT formula it looks like it only uses the B value, so set the length = 1 and try offset = 4. If you don't see that, try changing the offset up or down until you see the data you expect.

Let us know what you find out!

Re: Exporting Live Telemetry Data to External Client

Hi, Thanks for the inquiry. We are building the new Podium app using the same API that we will ultimately make available for developers. It is not ready yet, as the Podium app is not fully released (still in beta). Once we do, we will work on documenting and making that API available on a subscripti...

Re: iOS App can't connect over WiFi

As a test comparison, do you have an Android device (yours or a friend) to see if it works that way? That would help narrow down the source of the issue.

Re: Is it possible to use RaceCapture without any hardware?

With internal GPS, they work- poorly. It's a common sight to see screenshots of bad GPS traces with these lap timers. We prefer to maintain high quality data for the best user experience - and with the $299 entry point for RaceCapture, you have excellent GPS quality, a very high quality IMU (vs a ty...

Ah, work never ends. The new app will work with your existing data logs so you can analyze your data while in the hotel bar, or wherever you go. :)

Re: Is it possible to use RaceCapture without any hardware?

Hi - thanks for joining!

Not currently. Phone / Tablet GPS is too low quality to do lap timing; the information would be unreliable.

We may make it available without lap timing for in-car pit-to-car messaging and live race stats, now that this feature is coming online.

Re: iOS App can't connect over WiFi

Hi, Welcome! First step is to connect to RaceCapture's WiFi network via iOS networking settings. Seems that you've done that; good. Next, you would go into the app; if you're running the setup wizard, you would choose the WiFi connection; should be that by default for iOS. You can also ensure you ha...
