PostForum: RaceCapture/Pro General Q&A   Posted: Mon Apr 22, 2019 10:54 pm   Subject: set local time

I think that answers my question. I was wondering/hoping there was a way to tell it Eastern Time, but I guess not. I know I couldn't find anything for doing that, but wasn't sure. Thanks.

I've tried most or all of the above, and when I try to open the file in Dashware, it still acts like I never selected a data file. By that, I mean I select the file, and click OK, and when it takes m ...

I'm fairly certain that the reason I can't get Dashware to work for me, with my MK3, is the time format. Can someone please, send me a data file that works with Dashware, so I can see if I can find w ...

Is there a way to have racecapture put local time, instead of GMT in the time stamps for log displayed times? This would be nice, so we don't have to mentally convert each log file to try to match to ...

is there a way to do "either" "or" in a string. Like:
if either rpm > 10000 or rpm > 6000 and rpm < 8200 then setGpio(0,1) else setGpio(0,0) end

I tried that string, ...

I'm back to trying something on my sequential shift light that should be simple, but I ran into a kink. I have led 0 and led 2 tied together and hooked up on gpio (0) terminal, and led 1 separately t ...
PostForum: RaceCapture/Pro General Q&A   Posted: Wed Feb 13, 2019 12:40 am   Subject: GoPro 3 stopped connecting to MK3

I was able to find the page easily enough, and now the system is working as it should. The only change I made was (since I had the data logger out of the car) rather than use RPM to trigger it, I use ...

I'm not finding that page. Where do I find it? I think you have a different version of RaceCapture. Your photo shows 2.13.0-6. I show I have 2.13.5. is that page available somewhere else in my ve ...

I forgot that page exists. I'll check it and get back with you on it with what i find. I'll also look at the pol log when attempting, and see what takes place.

Great. Thanks. I'll give that a try and see how it works out. I didn't realize the unit would do more than communicate with my laptop or phone off the USB.
PostForum: Sensors   Posted: Tue Feb 12, 2019 8:32 pm   Subject: Accelerometer smoothing

can i do that with just the laptop hooked up for power? If so, that's certainly worth a try. If not, I'll have to pass. wring it to the car would be more work than I want to do right now - especially ...

I've had a lot of trouble with WiFi connections since I've had this MK3 unit. I know some of it was hardware because I had to send it back, and was told it was repaired, but never told what the issue ...

I added an isolation dampener, but I haven't had a chance to test it yet. Hopefully next weekend, but depends on the weather. I know that with my G2X, the instructions specifically recommended using ...

Thanks. I figured that out as a strong potential after I sent the message. You might consider putting that recommendation in the mounting instructions. I'm not sure why I didn't think of it while moun ...
