using NGK AP7FS plugs in a 2.1 Pinto engine. Running Motorcraft 8mm silicone leads. Trigger wheel is bolted to the front crank pulley which is a solid cast steel item so no chance of any movement there as it's located to the crank by a woodruff key. http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m227/capri_turb...

Just checked the timing with the Jolt unplugged and I find the timing is jumping 9 degrees... not drifting around, but a jump and the same 9 degree jump at any revs. Most of the time it's at 19...

Mines been on for nearly 3 years now and not had one single failure or even a hiccup. Brilliant system, well suited to the Pinto. Going to MJLJ my 2.8i Turbo next... that sh...

The MJLJ will work with Capri tachos but ONLY 85 on... you need the one with adjustment potentiometer on the back. I think I've covered this issue on the Laser page for Nat a while back, but it could have been on CapriPower... same issues with 24V conversions... definately covered it on CP for this ...

Brent,
Is there a pin for pin SMT (SOIC) device that I could use with a DIP adaptor board?
Is this the one?
