Let me know if you need anything. I spent a lot of "quality time" LOL messing with that to get it to work correctly. At some point I would like to see just how small a trigger wheel it would work with. You would start losing definition Dean UNLESS the pickup/VR sensor used a something lik...

Another Year has passed

I can not believe it but another year using MJLJr as my dd and not a single hiccup / problem with it. Being it is a Porsche there have been other issues. Like a trans, a dif a FPR rear hub bearings front bearings A arm bushings gas tank rusting.. . . . .And the list goes on. But again my hat is off ...

I am sure that there is no chance that Brent will undertake this. I know what it takes to bring a new product to market. About the only way this could happen is if you actually took MS and converted it. In essence dumb it down. Remove functionality and hack out large sections of the code (both in th...

What about just another "box" that is sold by some company that already sells "box's". (ya Brent I am picking on you :D) Let it sell its self. I have done the marketing thing for another automotive related devise and it is alot of work. The better way is to let it grow slowly on ...

@ Spockie-Tech I here what you are saying BUT I think that there may be a market for just such a "hacked" system. If you simply say No you are not going to use the stock wiring harness and you have to use high impedance injectors and you have to run a MAP based system and you have to use G...

I here what you are saying. My MS build is here. >> http://clarks-garage.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8338&start=0 I am almost done. I am waiting on a plug for the o2 sensor so I can use the stock wiring. One of the goals has been not to hack up the wiring harness that is in the car. Looking back ...

I will have to go read up on the MJ/C thread. I forgot one input obviously WBO2. If you want a guinea pig for this let me know. I have been gathering all the parts to convert the Porsche to MS but with the complexity of MS it really is a daunting task. Regarding the availability of EDIS. Any local p...

Stand alone engine management (simple)

I have been looking at all thing megasquirt for the last 2-3 years and quite honestly MJLJr was to be a stepping stone to going to a MS system on my car. However what I have come to realise is that the MS is trying to be all things to all people with all motors. They do it very well but it can be (a...

I for some reason just stumbled on this post. If you are still working on getting it sorted give me a shout. Going to a cam trigger with 72-2 really is not any more complicated than using a 36-1 on the crank. The reason for the sensor from an RX7 is two fold. 1. Size of the trigger wheel teeth. It c...

Bringing this back up: I just purchased the SLC EVK from Alan over at 14point7 and I could not be more pleased. It was very simple to assemble. It is up and running on the bench with no issues. My intent it to use it with a complete stand alone system I did not want a gadge on the dash if I want to ...

Things are running great!!!! I drive it every day. I probably have 50-60K miles on the MJLJr

Just a note to those that may read this thread I updated the map to take care of some minor driveability issues as well as a timing belt replacement.

Great product Brent!!!
