TPS WOT triggered map

Brent would you ever consider having a single line table that the MJLJ would reference if it was triggered by the WOT? I am running a map set up at the moment but it would be interesting to have a blended setup that would be triggered by the TPS to a preset WOT trigger. the reason for this is that t...

Just start collecting parts. Ebay or the local pic and pull is your friend!!! Makes the $$$$ aspect of it better as well. Get a box and put things in to it and then take them out when you have a moment and start planning measuring fabricating etc. A little bit here and a little bit there and the nex...

That is a cool Idea!!!! If my car goes in to limp mode it is slower than a Yugo. .. or an 1983 diesel rabbit. It would be nice to know before I pull out of the driveway!!! I like it.

Yes If you drive it off the distributor (or inclose it in the housing it will also require a 72-2.

Re: Warm up?

What's wrong with a thermo-switch. Nothing.. . . I am just trying to be different. I have relays, I have the MJLJ, why not?. Actually controlling your cooling fan via a temp switch is so yesterday. MJLJr can do anything.. . . world peace, global hunger are soon to follow. If I can just get it to co...

He he he AC?????? My car shed that for weigh savings back in 1993 or 1994 I think. If I want it cool I have to drive faster. It also drastically reduces cell phone usage as you can not hear a darn thing when you are "at speed" with the windows open :D

I am thinking again (Fan Control content)

I have come up with a really simple idea for fan control. With my car as long as I am moving / driving the fan does not need to be on. But when in traffic (stop and go) obvious it does so I was just going to hook up one of my fans so they will come on under say 1800rpm. I would then hook up my 2nd f...

SPARKPLUGS

So what is everyone doing with plugs once you swap over to the EDIS? I had a set of Bosch coppers (race plugs) I had pulled them out and put in a set of NGK's that were for my car. I opened up the gap to the escort size. I think .052 if I remember correctly. Anyway the car has always run rough and i...

The VDO ones from the 944's are good the scale is 0-250 deg. You can also get then 0-300 (what I use for my oil temp) The 944 water temp sensors come in two sizes.. Pre 85.5 are small about 3/8" diameter where as the post 85.5 ones are about 1/2" wide. Both screw directly in to the head of...
