I'm in the process of revamping the information on the website.. I'll have all of the relevent information broken down by 'project' , with the primary entry point under the Information Library Link. I should have that up this weekend. The Vref conditioning is on the +5v out. You can order the V3 boa...

Interesting idea. Yes, it
Interesting idea. Yes, it was overkill to double up the pins for +12v and GND on the V2 controller. You could build your unit for MAP sensor operation, sell it to a friend, and then re-order a V3 board, which has native support for TPS. As you can see on the V3 connector pinout, the GND and +12v are...

There's a hardware
There's a hardware programmer that's used to get the bootloader installed. it's a seperate piece of hardware than the MJLJ board.
Once the bootloader is installed, the MJLJ board can handle uploading of new MJLJ firmware. Hence the moniker 'boot loader'.

This is not quite
This is not quite correct.
hc08sprg.exe requires a 'boot loader' to be installed on the chip. Your blank chip does not have this bootloader installed on it.
If you want to order another chip I can get one out to you in a day or two.
Thanks,
Brent

3.0 parts ordering
Yes! I have the 3.0 digikey parts order page up.
I'm going to continue re-organizing the website to put V2 and V3 in their respective categories.
The page is under "Information Library"

Ivan,
Ivan,
The tach driver posted in the files section should work for you.. V3 controller will have a 12v output.

Best option is a hidden fuel
Best option is a hidden fuel kill switch. and maybe a few other things.
Bottom line, like it was iterated before, if they're determined and have the time, they'll take it one way or another. Best to offer as much of a deterrent as possible.

Wow- I never thought electronics could attack like that.
Check the voltages, and check the chip orientation. That's kind of a freakish accident.
Hope you're OK.

Crap, sorry to hear! Glad you're OK considering the circumstances. Get that neck and back checked out, it's probably going to be worse in a week. If you start waking up at night in pain you know you need to go in to get help. As for new cars... stay with rear wheel drive. the new mustangs are nice a...

Interesting.
I would put a vacuum gauge on the same line the MAP sensor is hooked up to in order to verify what's happening. Where are you connecting it on your manifold?

Your best option is to use a generic 'safe' ignition curve- there are some in the files download section you can use.
The next thing is to tune with a Dyno/Rolling Road and see where you can gain power, safely.
Like Oliver indicated, it takes patience and time.
