Its difficult to tell from the angle of your photo there... Are you sure the center metal pole of the VR sensor is aligned accurately with the center of the holes drilled in your pulley ? It looks like the VR sensor may be aimed slightly *inside* the hole circles. that gap looks pretty wide too.. If...

A possible enhancement.. how about changing the color of the cells that were in effect when a "mark event" occurs during a log ? So you can run a logging session, tap the mark at any pinging or blips, and then easily see where on the 2d or 3d maps what cell was in use at the marked moment ...
