Some good news. Using the MJLJ hardware with the MCU removed I can talk to the Bluetooth module via the serial port on the MJLJ. I get OK when I type AT and have been able to change the baud to 38400 using the AT+BAUD6 command and get the response OK38400. I have then gone back in using PuTTy at 384...

Quick question regarding changing the baud rate. I can't do it over the bluetooth connection as it needs to be in AT mode, so can I do it through the megajolt serial port if I pop the mcu out for safety?

I'll try that if I can ever get a bluetooth connection to talk to it. Trying a terminal emulator on the phone later.

Can't get it working :( . Unit looks exactly the same as the one in the link, but not the same as the one you have used on your board. Phone pairs with it ok, but no data at all. Only got a bluetooth dongle but it won't work on windows 7 even in compatibility mode... having trouble with my usb to serial connection to it too. Works occasionally. Need to try another computef as I've recently upgrafed from vista where it all worked to 7 and nothing works... will try more later ...

Got my module wired up and paired, but the gauges stay at '0' and can't get the map or anything from the Megajolt. tried swapping Rx and Tx... same result. Samsung Galaxy s II Android 4.

Any ideas?

Looking good. Swiping between screens sometimes takes about 9 or 10 attempts and occasionally requires a reboot of the app on my Samsung Galaxy SII.

How's the bluetooth hardware coming along? I would assume this could be tested with the standard tuner and a bluetooth dongle on the laptop?

the 15 pin port you describe will be a VGA output not serial. It's for connecting an external monitor.

any more news on this? My android phone arrives tomorrow and I can't wait to the 'Jolt tuning on it instead of the bulky laptop.
