There certainly isn't anything to Gan by putting it directly to the battery as in the end of the day the alternator will probably be powering it more than the battery would. Not so. If you have a bad ground lead from the battery you will have issues (ask me how I know) Grounding directly to the bat...

Through my being an idiot I put regular in the car the other day. No pinging on the current map but the car was definitely not happy. It idled much worse and it was just not as smooth. So while I proved that this map can be run with 87 octane 93 is much better. The plus side to this was I just chang...

I just thought I would update this and say that I drive my 924s just about every day. It sees 200-500 miles a week and the MJLJ-V4 has been flawless. Not a hiccup no issues. Once you get it up and running and get the tune proper it is basically like a hammer. The no start condition I was experiencin...

Do you have a source for that Martin gear you used? Looked around and cant seem to find a distributor for them. I'm thinking about going the 72 tooth route as the more the engine comes together the less room I seem to have to mount things and i have a spare distributor just laying around. My origin...

my cam fired porsche with a 72-2 wheel. What I learned was that the width of the wheel has to be wider than the pickup on the sensor. The diameter and tooth size can be very small.

Sounds great!!!!!. Wait till you drive it! I was absolutely astounded at how much better my car runs now that I got it sorted. BTW I was watching the first video and it looked like you were getting intermittent spark. In other words you should see a constant pulse of the spark in a regular pattern o...

Yes, if you mounted the trigger wheel on the cam drive (1/2 crank speed) and triggered the EDIS8 from there. I pondered this for my 924s as I was driving the unit from the cam anyway but you will run in to some weird issues with RMP speeds being very slow at start up. It would also go with out sayi...
