Hi first post here, just got my hardware in the mail and excited to take it for a test run Smile Welcome! So unlike many of you here i'm a motorcycle racer so I'm trying to think of ways to use the RCP without having to strap down a cellphone (visible or not visible) and worry about charging etc. I...

Hey speedfreek88, Have a look at the online instructions at http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_vehicle_installation_guide and hopefully they will answer your question. Also when equipped with the MAP sensor version of the MJLJ do you just hook up a vac line to the port on the MJLJ? You may need to...

Never seen or heard of that issue before. Did you get it unstuck or are you still having issues with it?

If its still stuck how are you powering it? Are you using USB or is it wired into the car?

Some more debug info

Based on the files uploaded by Toga94m I can verify that the GPS data is in fact valid. To prove it I imported Toga's data into a spreadsheet and projected laps 7 and 8 onto a map. You can see his driving right along old post road and it flows nicely. So we can now safely eliminate incorrect or weir...

on v2, my RPC's LED for GPS doesn't blink at the same rate it did when GPS lock was made on v1.
That is expected. We should have noted that in the release notes.

Nice work thus far

Nice work toga94m. I intend to dig into this more tonight. I'll add what I find here. The Sector number is logged at -1 until the first time I cross start/finish. Yep. That is expected. That is how I know when you have actually crossed start/finished and triggered a launch event. Does lap counting w...

Can you use a pre-defined track

I have seen this behavior before but am still hunting down the root cause. One question: Do you see this issue when you use a predefined track as opposed to specifying your own start/finish points? Its an outside shot but any info you have will be useful in tracking down this issue.

Howdy!

Hey Paul. Welcome to the forums. That does look like a very fun toy. Let me see what I can do to answer your questions (some of the other RCP guys might join in too). If i don't respond to your point its because I don't have what I feel to be a good enough answer. My current Stack system is a comple...

Shift lights in Lua

Here is a script I wrote for our Lemons car. It controls our shift lights by controlling the duty cycle of the PWM outputs. The outputs were acting as current sinks, so on (duty cycle at 100%) meant the lights were off, and vice versa at 0%. The script is attached. --[[ Cheesy RCP sc...
