Megajolt T-shirt design contest!

Post by brentp »

Powered By Megajolt

Can you beat that tag line? I bet you can. Here at ASL headquarters we banged our heads together for a microsecond and had the brilliant, incredibly unique idea of launching a Megajolt t-shirt design contest!

Theme-wise just about anything goes: cool, funny, ironic, edgy, smug, even slightly risque would be considered (double entendre', anyone?). Maybe depict your favorite car or perhaps the iconic Megajolt'ed car (classic mini?), tractor, motorcycle, test bench ('cause you were skeptical it would work), or abstract concept. Or just some text, allowing your wit to capture the imagination.

Try to keep it to one color, 2 colors max. It must be friendly to silk screening.

Prizes!

The winner will be lavished with praise and the esteem for winning such a prestigious contest. Oh, and a T-shirt of the winning design. Oh, and one Autosport Labs product of your choice, configured they way you want, delivered anywhere in the world. Oh, and first dibs on beta-testing a future project (several coming up!).

Just to make it interesting, we'll declare two winners! After the contest the top two designs will be available in our online store for purchase.

Submission deadline is Sunday, Auguest 15, Midnight PST. Winner to be announced no later than Friday, August 20.

Instructions

Submit your designs as a response to this thread. Attach a small version of your design, and email a high resolution copy to sales {at} autosportlabs.com. Easy!

By submitting your design you agree to allow Autosport Labs to use your design in any and all of its various promotional endeavors.

Ha! Oh, if you're a member of any other communities- do spread the word! I'm sure they would not appreciate us spamming them directly :) Lets see your ideas!

Oooh- a theme of "retro meets high tech".. Or "you can teach an old dog new tricks" (might be better to have a non canine metaphor) :)

Here is my design, sorry if it doesn't come out right but its the best i can do with paint for the time being, new laptop!!!

Basically its a t-shirt with the board silks on, obviously all the writing would be eligible, etc. It's just a rough design at the moment.

Love funky drivers 2, suck, squeeze megajolt blow is my fav so far ;)

Heres my first cut at a concept/tagline.. :)

I can change that blue-ish graph to red to keep it to two colors if you like it.

It's a spur-of-the-design, and technically not completely correct (MAP-based systems can still call it vac advance)...but I kinda like it :D.
