EDIS Heat Sink

Post by BRUCEROE »

I was wondering if the EDIS components have heat sink requirements. I figured to mount everything except theMJLJ V4 on the engine. Bruce Roe

the EDIS module is designed to be mounted to a body component- such as the fender, firewall or front bulkhead of engine. One would presume that the surface the EDIS module is attached to offers sufficient heat sinking. I would imaging bolting to the engine might be detrimental to EDIS module cooling, since the engine is a significant source of heat.

OK then, just the coil packs mount on the engine. I will need to find new plug ends for coil wires, no clearance for those long ones. thanks, Bruce Roe
