TPS To MAP convertion on Mj E

Hello there, Iwant to convert Magajolt E from TPS to MAP
Ist there annything I have to do other than soldering in the MPX4250AP Sensor?

Hope someone can help, Hans.

You can simply use an external MAP sensor and wire it up in the same way that you would a TPS.

Thanks CNG1,
so thats one way to do it, but having allready purschased the MPX 4250AP and prefering the neat solution of having averything inbuilt in the MJ E housing I would like to go down that road.

So again, is there more to converting from TPS to MAP than just soldering in the MPX4250AP sensor on the Megajolt /E ?

Check the Megajolt/E board - If you have the black Rev E board, you'd just need to solder in the MAP sensor and disconnect the TPS. If you have the Green Rev D board, you will need to add 2 0.1uf 1206 ceramic capacitors to the pads C8 and C9 and 1 270 ohm 1206 resistor to pads R4, in addition to the MAP sensor.
