Software issues

Hi, have got my megajolt jnr all assembled and ready for testing, however when i run the tuning software it comes up with an error saying that the buffer is 1 when it expected 128, i would like to hear ideas about resolving this, i can put on the complete error if that will help. I really hope this is a software problem and not a hardware one. because of this error when the program runs after showing the error message it says error in configration and cannot connect to controller. Any help would be greatly apeciated. Am planning on testing my cable at some point as it is brand new.
