For UK members

Post by landy_andy »

Hi,

I have an account with RS Components and after checking, they hold stock off all components required to build your controller, this includes the MAP sensor. If there is enough inerested from UK members I could put a kit of parts together for a sensible price that'll save alot of messing around.

Cheers,
Andy

Andy,
Have you found the connector on RS? Could you post up the stock number.

Thanks

RS connector

Hi,

RS don't stock the exact Molex connector called for in the parts list, there closest match is 447-5931. It's part of the same range but doesn't have the chassis ears.

Hi,

Have fitted the RS nearest equiv, and it looks & fits ok, just has a gap around it in the case as it doesn't have the 'ears'.

Cheers,
Andy

Hello,

I could be interested too. Looking at your username, are you thinking about this for a LandRover?

Let us know how much.

Robert.

Hi,

I already supply kits and pre-built units in the UK and can supply just components if there is a demand.

Just had a look at your web pages. FYI, the KX8 doesn't have a SPI interface, so I'm not sure it can be classed as essential, and I'm keen to know how I wire an Air Intake Temp Sensor and a Coolant Temp Sensor into the MJLJ

The power of copy and paste... those pages are nearly 2 years old now. I really must update them!
