Good question. I also notice that all the LEDs on the right side vertical strip blink together at about 2Hz. Why is that?

The LEDs indicate activity for various parts of the system:

1. wifi (blue) = There is WiFi activity
2. Bluetooth (blue) = There is Bluetooth activity
3. error (red) = There is an error condition (SD not logging correctly, or Lua script error)
4. power (green) = The unit has power
5. CAN (orange) = There is CAN activity
6. telemetry (blue) = There is cellular telemetry activity
7. SD card (orange) = There is SD card activity
8. GPS (green) = There is GPS activity (slow flash = searching; fast flash = satellites are locked

The action button is primarily used to manually start logging, or to put the unit in bootloader mode.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the descriptions. But can you elaborate, the color description too. Because there are three color Blue, Green and Orange. So it is difficult to interpret the current state.

Thank You.

There's nothing specifically special about the color.

Each LED is fixed in color, and chosen by our whim to be visually pleasant and discernible from a distance.

Hope that helps! :)

I guess you got it wrong. I was asking that what does this color specify?
for example CAN,
Green color (on can) = CAN is working fine
Orange color (on can) = Some error in CAN
It some times shows blue color on WiFi so what does that state signify.

Thank you

That's weird. I've never seen the CAN led be any other color than orange.

Hi,

All of the LEDs on RaceCapture/Pro are a fixed color - they will only be their respective colors, or off. They are not multi-colored LEDs.

As indicated previously, they are primarily used to indicate activity on the respective things they represent.

Thanks, I hope that clarifies things!
