Bluetooth module replacement

Post by GTech »

I have "lost"" my bluetooth module last week and I'm looking for a cheaper replacement.
Would it be possible to use a normal HC06 module as that is available for about 12 dollar ?
what baudrate used for this ?

Hi, you can make your own bluetooth module, the schematics are here. We highly recommend you have the required skills before taking on the project:
https://github.com/autosportlabs/bluetoothConnect

Note that the serial connection is RS232 level specification; you cannot simply connect the port up to the HC-06 without damage.

We still have spare BT modules available for RaceCapture/Pro MK1 and MK2 available here:

The base price is $49.95. Is it computing a lot for shipping?

Try ordering from our UK dealer, trigger wheels. They may have one in stock.
