MK2 with bluetooth and wifi

Post by MrBlahh »

is there any way to use a mk2 with bluetooth and wifi? I Was not sure if they both use the same port on the mk2, preventing me from using both.

I need to use bluetooth for HLT but I would like to start using another device as a dashboard & podium too

No, you don't. Wi-Fi also works with HLT. The RaceCapture/Track only has Wi-Fi.

Hi,

Yes indeed; for MK2 you can connect both BT and WiFi. BT plugs into the inner port (closer to the button), and WiFi plugs into the outer port.

For reference, MK3 and RaceCapture/Apex both have BT and WiFi on-board.

I do have to use bluetooth for HLT or it cannot control the gopro over wifi.

that said the gopro's are buggy and fail to record as often as they record.

My Hero3 has been quite reliable as long as the battery is charged. The later versions seem to have 'features' that make them less reliable or even incompatible.
