Getting battery circuit voltage

Post by pugwonk »

Hi folks - on https://wiki.autosportlabs.com/Racecapt ... re_install it mentions that RCP3 has a channel assigned to battery voltage. Is that the voltage of my car's battery circuit? Only this would solve a current problem I have, and mean that the RCP part of this project may have to be brought a little sooner for safety reasons and things. :)

The "battery voltage" is the voltage seen at the RCP with the motor off (alternator off). Once the car it running, the voltage at the RCP is voltage of the system with the alternator running. Regardless, voltage at the battery should be same as the voltage at the RCP.
