SensorX

Post by rushy »

Just been reading up about the Sensor X breakout board, and as we will be using a few resistance type sensors it looks like its a great idea.

Can these be purchased from you guys?

As I don't have much idea about designing/making/printing PCB's, if i was to use the PCB files and use a local electronics firm what is it i will be asking for? As ive noticed online there is a lot of different pcb types, layers etc.

Thanks for all the help so far and my unit arrived in UK on Friday, just got to get busy with the sensors now!

Hi Rushy,

Thanks! We'll be making the SensorX breakout board + CoilX coil interface board https://github.com/autosportlabs/CoilX and the analog buffer board https://github.com/autosportlabs/analogBuffer available through our online store.

There are a number of board houses available that can build these for you at a modest cost. usually you provide the CAD files to them and they can build and ship the board to you.

I want to retrieve the RPM signal of my motorcycle, but it is only a 3V signal (measured with an oscilloscope).
When I connect it to RaceCapture Pro, it drops to 2.7V and I can't read it (nothing displayed with the live sensor).

Which board should I use to reinforce the signal?
