Java installation

Post by PioneerX »

Due to several people having installation problems, I developed an installation package to install both the Java and the Tuning software, however this package is 13Mb in size and wont fit on a disk.

You have several options, but to be honist unless you are use to the technical side of computers then it is going to diffcult.

on http://www.performancelocost.co.uk/files you will find a directy that contains the installation package I produced as you will see a Floppy disk directory. Inside here there are 11 files you need to put on disks and transfer to the machine. once on the machine you need to install the WinRAR program, then reboot that machine. Double click part1 file, this will then produce a setup.exe file, double click this to install the MegaJolt software making sure you leave the option 'Start this Application' ticked as this will start the install of java on the machine.

If you have any problems, drop me an email. By the way I'm assuming this machine has Windows on it.

Simon
