Engine Temperature Sensor and Bias Resistor

Post by E635815 »

I am about to wire a coolent temperature sensor on my RV8 to a Megajolt ECU.
It is a single wire probe design, therefore the ground will be done by the engine and chassis (I have upgraded the ground cables all around the car).
Now, in order to calibrate my sensor (AMR1425), I would like to tuse Easy-Therm to create the calibration table.
But for that, I need to know the value of the Bias Resistor on the Auxiliary Input channel.
Is there such a resistor (I guess yes) and what's its value (2.49k or 2.2k Ohms)?
Thanks for the answer.
Regards
Philippe

Hi,

The pullup resistor is 2.2K ohms.

Thanks!
