Option Switch

Post by haz87 »

Hi All

Hopefully a nice quick/painless question.

Trying to wire in a map (option) switch on a V4 MJLJ. Grounding to trigger opt2 is obvious, however when using opt1, am I OK to tie this into a 12v feed?

Pinning out the option wire from the MJ unconnected, I'm seeing ~5v already. I just wanted to ensure that connecting this directly to a 12v feed isn't going to cook anything?

Cheers
Harry

The option switch should be connected to ground when activated, or open circuit when not activated.

Do not connect it to 12v, this will damage the Megajolt system.

Hope this helps,
