Request for proper time data in recording files

For a future release could there be a proper time scale recorded in the logfile? I'd like to have a proper time axis in the log files.

Not a timescale from the GPS satellites, but rather a time scale from the internal clock. So 0s would be when the recording stops and the time column would have a proper time stamp from the internal clock on the row where the data was recorded. So if all rasters were set to 10Hz the time column would basically have 0, 0.1s, 0.2, etc. Odd measure rasters would of course have time stamps in between.

And it is quite easy to implement.

Bumping this because I'm fighting with logs and RaceRender right now.

So we're looking at adding this in the big V2 firmware update.

Looking at a format of SSSS.SSS ?

I think that would work, something that starts at 0 when the log starts and counts up from there.

Yes. Only needs to have as many decimal places as the fastest available sample rate. So if RCPro only does up to 100Hz, which is every 0.01s, then only needs to be SSSS.SS, with increments of 0.01s, no need for 0.001s increments or? At the other end, how many seconds should it be capable of, depends on how many seconds of data people take for Lemons or ChumpCar or other endurance events.
