Hi, yes- we will be enabling a beta form of in app analysis within a couple of weeks. To start, It will provide basic charting and data over laps, similar to RaceAnalyzer, but lap oriented- so different laps can be compared.

What kind of scrutineering are you looking to do? Is this for your specific team or a across a race series?

Brent,

Is this ever going to happen? You've been saying "soon" for more than a year...

Hi Jason,

It's going to happen, plus much more. Here are some examples of the latest analysis capabilities currently in development for the app:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLIk3MatbH0

It's a lot of work, but will provide an amazing, touch-oriented first experience, that will be easy to learn from the get-go.

When we make it available, it will be made available in beta form in the play store as well as Windows / OS X download.

Sorry it's taken much longer than expected; it's something we really want to get out.

We'll post here, and also watch our blog posts at http://autosportlabs.com/blog

Thanks!

Brent,

That looks like a great start! I'm excited about it.

Two of the features that we use all the time on the race team (not my chump team, the real now defunct Nissan team) are looking at data vs. distance as well as being able to zoom in on a selection of data. Being able to zoom in on a piece of the data is very important when looking at small differences in speed, throttle application, or steering. I'd say the third most useful feature is tiling data (where each channel gets it's own axis). However, with the limited data I'm usually looking at in chump I don't think that will matter as much.

Looking forward to using the new updates!

Thank you for checking it out.. We've released 1.4.1 and soon 1.4.2. Our feature / bug issue list is public for your review: https://github.com/autosportlabs/RaceCa ... s/Analysis

We also have a comprehensive demo of the analysis portion, starting at 12:20 in this video. You'll be able to see how to zoom in on the chart data as well as the driving line.

We're working on this with fairly high velocity; we're eager to release more features soon!

Thank you again,
