Hi,

I’m about to install a Racecapture Track in my e46 M3 and wonder about the GPS antenna location.
I found the oem antenna located under the rear parcel shelf and for a nice and clean installation I thought I’d install the new racecapture antenna there too. But does it dramatically lower the reception and thereby performance/accuracy of the data logging to have it there and not in clear view of the sky?

Front dash and rear parcel shelf can be options, but you should test carefully before counting on it. Also, the rear heater wires may also interfere with reception as well.
