Direction Channels

It would be really nice if there were direction channels for both GPS and the onboard magnetometer. I've been informed that this is a firmware issue, not an app issue. In principle, one could calculate the yaw angle of the car axis relative to the actual direction of travel. Drifters, for one, could use this.

Hi Dewitt, yes; the IMU we use has the magnetometer channel and we have it on the list to expose via the firmware. This would apply to RaceCapture/Pro MK2 as well as RaceCapture.

Hi,
Current status is we may consider it for 2.13.0 firmware - features for 2.12.0 are fairly solidified.
