Allow More Customization of Display Screens

Post by wizrd54 »

I think it would be good to allow more customization for the display screens when in the car. I like the lap timing screen that shows the delta, predicted lap time, last lap time, and best lap, but I wish I could substitute some of those items for a gauge. Right now the only freedom I have is to use the 3 text channels at the bottom.

In my situation I think having the delta and last lap time with a handful of gauges would be nice. I can see that it would be a lot more work on the developer's end if you were to allow users to control the position of everything on the screen.

Brent and company, let me know if this change could happen in the future.

Hi, this is something we're working on as part of a 2.0 release of the RaceCapture app, and the new upcoming Podium app. Watch for news on these improvements!

When is the 2.0 expected?

I´d really like to have a more individual dashboard.
It would be nice, if the alarm function could be optimized. For example certain alarm conditions.
Oil pressure in relation to RPM oder Lambda in relation to RPM and TPS.

Harald

It should be available in a couple of months, possibly by when everyone is allowed to get back on a race track.

Thanks!
