Bench Testing

Post by capri_turbo »

I have built my V3 controller and all seems well... it comunicates with mjtuner_0.2.2.160_preview and I have been able to upload a map to it ok. My question is this...

just sat on the bench, the map reading ia 102kPa as expected... now... I fitted some tube to the map sensor and sucked... I was able to pull it down to about 60kPa... the bargraph on the runtime display moved, however... the advance reading didn't jump cells to correspond to the map reading... is this normal with the unit on the bench with no other inputs.

I am very impressed with my MJLJ so far and the tuner programme... it is all so easy to use.

I'd like to thank Brent and 4600cc for all their effort in bringing us the MJLJ and the tuner software.

Now, all I have to do is get the stuff installed on the Capri.

That's fine - MJLJ needs a PIP pulsetrain input to move the advance reading on the real time map in the tuner....
