Is multi-spark discharge enabled?

Post by Bulldog »

Hi all,

The EDIS notes mention a "multi-spark discharge" option where it will fire each cylinder up to 3 times at low revs. Is this permanently enabled, disabled, is there an option in the menus, or is it coming in later versions. It seems pretty easy to enable...

My Rover V8 system is up and running now and i am very happy with it :D

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Peter, The MJLJ does not currently enable Multi-spark for the EDIS module. It hasn't been a low-request feature. Are you trying to resolve some idle/low-RPM drivability issues?

No, not at all. Everythings working great.

Just want to get maximum performance from the system... I suppose it would only make a very slight difference...

Awesome system. Thanks.

Peter.

Brent,
You say above that the MJLJ does not do the multi spark discharge like the factory ECU. Question was this feature enabled in any of the later Megajolt versions? Megajolt/E MK2?
Thanks,
Larry
