After I install the rear clip and wash it up, I'll take one of the completed car outside.
It has 10,000 miles on it on a dizzy, now the Megajolt is installed and working!
I am very pleased, thanks a bunch Brent!!
Time for mapping and testing the limiter.

yes - thanks for posting the map. I'm about 2 months behind you on a similar project (T4 2L)

Good work. Just out of curiosity - why did you choose the TSP over MAP?

Thanks Brent. Will post more soon. Having too much fun driving it now that spring is here :o

Paul, I chose TPS because I didn't want to drill and tap the manifolds. I also didn't want extra hoses and a vac reservoir in the engine compartment. It is busy enough already. It was kind of a pain to make the TPS bracket but the TPS came off the donor Ford. Three wires and a bracket for me is easier than a bunch of hoses.

I've pulled back some of the part-throttle advance values, I'll update the map when I am comfortable that it is a good one all around.

Intersting project, I had the same job with my mini using a 48 IDA. No brackets available for mounting TPS. Took 3 goes to get it right. But happy with the results. Much cleaner install.

Nice Job.

Thanks! Paint was done in March of this year. Also added a gas heater with defrost vents too.

Motor puts out 180 hp @ 6000 on Megajolt v3. 147 ft. lbs. of torque just above 3000.

Car weighs 1450 lbs. with a half-tank of gas and no driver.

Update to the car. Still running perfectly. The ignition is hands down the best mod I ended up doing. Almost 27,000 miles now. It was around 10-12,000 when I installed the ignition. I ended up making a three-light sequential limiter by using three rpm outputs. I used another output to trigger a 12v solenoid that opens up a crankcase evac exhaust venturi above 5000 rpm. Also wired up temperature compensation(a bit more advance at low rpm when cold to increase the idle speed). I have spare new EDIS components in the car, just in case. Dual maps, one for good gas, one for bad.

Kudos to Brent for a VERY flexible, reliable product!
