65 XK EEEEEE

Post by kclm9803 »

1965 Jaguar E-type bare metal nut and bolt resto with Megajolt ignition
Against A.L. instalation advise I have the MJ unit mounted to an aluminum plate located on the intake side of the engine compartment. It's dry and not too hot.
Mounted the trigger wheel to a billet crank pulley on a Pro Race balancer.
Heavy gauge stainless sensor bracket.
Other mods include Wilwood brakes, stainless headers, upgraded cooling and charging.
I'm also the builder of the MGB4AG (all Toyota AE86 drive train) powered by MJ
Guess I'm on an English kick after years of Porsche (they're so easy compared to the Jags)
I never could find a Jag specific Ig Map.No joy on the A.L. boards
Next up 1957 XK coupe.

Ignition Map

Post by Tomahawkdub »

Car looks great nice clean MJ set up. Can you assist with an ignition map. I'm running a xj6 s2 with a s3 ported head and triple carbs, aftermarket header etc.
