1330 A Series Map?

Post by Midas »

Engine Mfg: Austin Rover
Engine Code: 12H
Cylinders: 4
Displacement (cc): 1330
Rev Limit: 6000 (ish)
TPS or MAP: MAP
Boosted or Normally Aspirated: NA
If Boosted- max Pressure (KPa):
Modifications: Cooper S pistons, Kent 266 Megadyne cam, ported head based around MG Metro valves, 11 head stud conversion, ported inlet manifold, maniflow medium bore LCB, K&N Filter in MG Metro airbox, SU HIF44.
Chassis: Midas Gold
Notes: Engine built by Adrian Dodd

Anyone got a map for something similar? I'd like to minimise the time it ultimately spends on a rolling road which, given the costs of restoring the car is going to be a while after it gets on the road. Most of the other maps I've seen have been on engines with more cam than the 266.

hi, Rich,
This is what I use in my 1380 Midas. Seems to work very well.

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for that, I think I already have your map tucked away in my map folder.

It's an MED engine with 266 cam, HIF44 and mildly modified head, otherwise standard MG

Just to say that Geoffs map is still providing sterling service in the Midas, it should be going on the rollers next month or early September and I'll post the resulting map.
