Autosportlabs Meet UK

Post by NITROPIXIE »

Hey guys

Does anyone out there fancy an mjlj meet??

Around May time, in Midlands'ish area so its more convenient for people to travel down.

Reply to this post if so (with type of vehicle) and will see if there enough people out there to start a meet. Nothing big, just a saturday afternoon somewhere, maybe to coinside with a run what ya bring at a race track/drag strip and have a rolling road setup for some tuning/mapping.

Might be good to share ideas, help with problems, look at peoples setups etc

Pricing will be at a minimum depending on location costs.

Is there anyone out there who has a portable rolling road or good contacts with a race track who can help then drop me a pm

I'd be up for a meet in the midlands somewhere! Be rude not to as I live just down the road from bruntingthorpe - ooooo could we get on there?

Terrible timing dude! The Mini's just come off the road while I find a suitable lock up to do what it needs.
might mooch down in the Fester though - it's got a crank sensor and coil pack! lol

I'll put some feelers out in other forums and see what that turns out. If i can get even a small gathering interested would be fun.

Nice one fella's well we got a start.

Gilesy - that is bad timing fella but i'm sure you'd make the next one. Sure the fester will be fine, but maybe missing some vital parts on the way home, lol.

Steve d - winner, could get some tune ups done.

Ken - don't worry about it mate, i'm moving up to Scotland, Rosyth in July for a few months so maybe we can do a small one later on in the year in scotland.

Anymore people interested out there?????

This would be a great reason for a trip! :) What time of the year would be best? June/July/August?

Well there is certainly no fixed date as yet, so we are still quite flexible.

I have emailed for the use of a hill climb track, we'll at least some of the land to use. Track will obviously incur a higher cost. I will give him a ring and see what i can sort anyway. The track is Shelsley Walsh Hill climb, which is West Midlands anyways, so fingers crossed for here.

Anymore takers????

I'd be interested in meeting up, work may be an issue as I work shifts but I'd try and get time off if need be.
