EDIS problems

Post by mini_mad69 »

Im installing my megajolt at the moment, and just working on the EDIS for now.

I have spark, so put the plugs in and it's just backfiring through my carb.

It's EDIS 4 on an A-series in my mini.

Im now starting to think my trigger wheel might not be bolted on properly. At TDC the missing tooth is 90 degrees before. My VR sensor is then pointing at the tooth before the missing one, is this correct, or have I got it wrong?

Cheers
Ben

Yeah, I had a reply on another forum and I was confused about the trigger wheel mounting, I filed a new keyway into the pulley and rotated it around, now works great.
